Default jet size's WTF?!?!?!?!?

allright guys quick Q, i have a 97 honda f3 the dude who i got it from said he had the bike jetted...which he did, cyl 1-140 / cyl 2-142 / cyl 4-142 / cyl 3-140 what the **** is that, the stock jetting on the bike is 135 and all the bike has done to it is a short d&d silencer....should i switch all to 140's 135's or what? the bike runs like **** going down the highway, but runs like a champ going through town, im at a loss of words.

Stock jetting usually has #135's in the 1 and 4 cylinder, and #138's in the 2 and 3 cylinder. You're sure you didn't get the confused in your question or where they were when you took them out ? If what you say is true and it only has a slipon, then I'd go back to stock. IMO.

hmmm. so they do have diff. jets in the carbs, i have never heard of that in my life. ill try that and see what happens
