Hi Iam Brian and new to this site and looking at getting a 98 600F3 and was wondering what insurance cost-ed you guys I know it wont be accurate but I can get a feel for it. Ohh iam 18 yr. and no tickets or any thing.

 

try state farm- its pretty decent. i pay less than 180 a yr-full coverage- 250 deduct

 

Might want to try progressive drive that's who i got, they like younger people.

 

You only pay 180/yr?? Here in canada for my 96 f3 it's 1200. Man I'm getting ripped off. haha

State Farm here too, $300/year w/ full coverage, 250/deduct on collision & 0 deduct on comprehensive coverage. They rate based on displacement, not the bike so they're considerably cheaper. I believe you need to have a car on the policy too though to get a bike on...and no points on your record or they won't even consider you. $1200 isn't crazy though, most people I know pay a grand or more. The small portion of us w/ State Farm are just lucky!

 

265 with all state and my record inst clean for liability

 

$450 a year for minimum plus comprehensive. If i drop the bike I'll either be dead or not want to get back on it again.

 

Rider Insurarnce, $173/year (NJ), liability only. I believe full coverage was around $800/year.
