i bought frame sliders a while ago, and if i would have installed them way earlier im sure i wouldnt have screwed my fairings up in my minor accident, so now that i got new ones, i need to know how to install them, im thinking ill take them to someone to install them, but if its not that hard then i just wanted to do them, anyone have advice on this? my bike is a 96 honda cbr 600 f3

there are a few ways, one involving play-doh and another using one if those laser level things, check thru some recent threads someone was just talking about no-cuts and how to install cut type

yes they are loaded in these threads, and pretty much all the bikes are the same way... if you want, i can take some pics, but you need a few tools to do the operation smoothly.

make sure the bolts are the right length, when i first did mine i had them mounted on the outside of the fairings using longer bolts with metal spacers on the inside of the fairings so they wouldn't squish or bend. Then someone told me that was a no-no and to flush mount them cutting into the fairing (eekk!). By then i lost the bolts that came with the sliders and had to get my own from a hardware store (grade 10.9 FTW)
