i need help to please!!!
ok i have been passed now for two weeks woo hoo anyhow my 1996 cbr600ft keeps flooding so i have to keep taking the plugs out and cleaning them its now getting a little frustrating just wondered if anybody had any ideas what the problem may be as i ride it two or three times then its of the road until i can get the plugs out please please please help i have only been doing short journeys do we think this may be the problem????? do we think the carbs may need balancing if so any body from the midlands

it could be your carbs like you said, but a few things to check. make sure your air filter is not too dirty.A dirty filter will make the bike run rich.
A low battery will also make the bike flood out. This happens when the bike doesnt turn over fast enough to start, but still dumps gas into the cylinders. Even a slightly slower turnover of the engine can have this effect. these engines need to spin relatively fast in order to start properly.
If your plugs have fouled once, its a sure bet they will again and again. these plugs are very sensitive and they never really fire right after a good fouling. I would suggest getting a new set of plugs. Make sure they are NGK R series. Champion plugs are horrible and foul out.
I would guess on dirty carbs vs needing to sync the carbs. A dirty air screw or even a sticky choke will cause these problems.
