Hey guys
Do you know where can i get a good deal on great pair of tires for my cbr f3, What brand of tires gives me the best all around performance?

I have had Dunlops and they are great but damn! they do not last! I don't even ride that hard that much... sometimes.... i mean i get on it.... some times more than other... ok i do a lot.... i ride it hard.... i ride it like a bike... dam it i beat the hell out of them!

 

I use Pilot Powers on the track. They're soft enough to grip but still last longer way longer than the Power Race.

I use Pirelli Diablo Stradas on the street. The regular Diablos were awesome but they only lasted 4K miles or so. The Strada is a Sport Touring Tire and will last longer.

 

Get some Michelin Pilot Powers

Pilot's...any of them....you won't be disapointed. I like my Powers...very good at track pace or in the wet....seam to last well.

I bought a set of Avon Viper Supersports to try....they had a free front tire deal going on....but won't have them on track till next year....I'll let you know then.

I am not a dunlop fan....not the street tires. I raced on 207's a while back...they have always made a good race tire, but the street tires seam slippery, and to wear fast or cup more than others.

I saw that, but the front tire is a 120/70, not the 120/60 the F3 takes. Does anyone have an opinion on how that would affect the handling, or even if it would fit under the fender.

 

leave it with the 120/70 it , well in my opinoin, is much more stable, turns in better, and give you a better contact patch with the ground. Don't cheap out on your tires, they're the only thing keeping your bike upright. Spend the extra money on the tires because replacing fairing once you crashed is going to cost alot more than he $50 difference in tires. Get the pilot powers and call it a day.
