i got my bike exactly a month ago and i couldnt be happier, no mishaps whatsoever. tonight, my friends and this girl i like decided to go chill at the local starbucks.. of course,i went there on my f3.the ride was very smooth and boy was it fun.. then disaster. as i was parking the bike, i thought i put the kickstand down and guess what, I DID NOT. and down with the bike i went, in front of my buddies and the girl. the aftermath: broken windshield. and a badly bruised ego. hahaha ive never fallen before and i just had to do it in front of everyone... my take home lesson, well, PUT THE FREAKIN KICKSTAND DOWN.

 

Haha, aww that sucks man... nothing manly to really say at that point, lol.

I keep hearing about this, people not realizing the stand was up - hope it doesn't happen to me!

figured the best thing to do as far as ego-damage control goes is to laughAT it myself.. hahaha! i thought it would never happen to me.. guess again! haha

 

It's a good thing you broke the fall for the bike, have seen a lot more damage from the same type fall.[sm=oopssign.gif]

Don't sweat it, it can happen to anyone. Since you have to get a new windscreen, check out the DoubleBubble screens from Zero Gravity. They look great and provide a little more protection when you're "tucked".

 

dam bro that sucks but yeah check out the dbs from pit eck decent buy for decent price .
when everytime i park i stand with the bike between my legs after i put down the kickstand this way if its unstable i can hold it up .
