Default I am clearly missing something

Sorry spicy but i used your pic as a reference

I just got my new exhaust. First exhaust that ive actually bought because i modified the one that came with the bike. I feel bad because i called the company and went off on them because it came a lot short and it didn't even fit over the header. then i saw spicy's picture and i said WTF

Basically i am missing a whole section of my exhaust. I don't get it though because the other exhaust fit fine. Refer to pic. I have a 4-1 header btw

So, you bought a Slip-On ? Or you bought an entire exhaust system ?

Slip-On's go onto the factory headers, and that's what they expect to be there. If you have a 4 int 1 header, then it has either been modified, or that header expects that the rest of the exhaust system would have come with all the bits to make it work. But that would have been their 4 into 1 system, not a mismatch of parts.

i bought a slip on

and it is the factory headers. And i dont think that its a modified header because the muffler that i currently have on the bike fits perfect and has all the springs and stock mounting hardware

I think the most likely explanation is that the previous muffler wasnt off a f3 and he moddified the headers to make it fit ??? post a pic up of what yours looks like there and someone should be able to tell ya if it should be longer

This is what the factory header looks like. It happens to be ceramic coated, but it's how yours should look.

Well, now I'm missing something here. The factory headers are 4-2-1. Aftermarket are usually 4-1. Which photo above looks like yours ? If you have a 4-1, than you don't have factory headers.
