Default how/where to install frame sliders?

I got a set of frame sliders when I bought my bike but not sure how to install them. I know that they will replace one of the bolts, but which one? If someone has pics that would really help a lot. Thanks!

the frame sliders come with a longer than stock bolt that replaces the engine mounting bolt (at least it does on my 929.) i assume that its the same for all bikes.
