There is a tiny bit of blue flame coming from my can when I back off the gas fast in neutral. I redid my valve lash and got it put back together, everything seems fine, maybe a little more noise, but then again, my intake valves were basically open all the time cause I was running between none and 3 thousandths of an inch gap on them. It looked like my timing was set right, I lined it up with the mark next to the t, and then lined up the intake and exhaust lines opposing each other what seemed to be parallel to the head and buttoned it all back up, I'm wondering what could be wrong.

 

a tooth off it prolly wouldnt start or would start hard n pop alot. Blue flames is prolly a rich condition.

 

So you think it's just the normal instantanious over richness caused by snapping the throttle closed then, and I'm just seeing it easily cause it was kinda dark?
