97 for $750.00 2600 orig miles hasent been riden seince 98, guy bought it rode it dropped it in grass, got scared, never rode again, sat in garage. Sold plastics to pay off loan.Someone bought it off him in 06, attempted to fix, gave up on carb rebuild, sat for another 2 years till I bought it 2 weeks ago. Rust in tank (now fixed with POR-15) used carb bought from ebay, ready to start for first time tomorrow.

1995, 6,000 miles, new tires, couple cracks in right upper fairing, $3,500 also from the stealership

Paid $7000 for my 1997 F3. Of course that was 10 years ago and it had 1 mile on the clock.

I bought mine about a year ago for $2,700.00 with 28k miles. Two small cracks on the right upper fairing. Had new tires and all fluids changed with receipts for proof.

I just bought mine about a month ago. 96, 11000 miles, new tires, california smog crab (carbs, cam and exhaust) removed, well maintained, good condition, $2600.

Damn, you are a lucky man, sounds like a great deal! Although if it had gas in it the whole time I would be worried about the gas lines and/or the pump also. First post!

Almost same scenario... 1998 Smokin Joe Edition; 6xxx miles onher for $600 last Feb.... not riden since 99 (99 registration sticker still on license plate). Needs side plastics and front fender.It wasn't running but got it intip top mechanicalcondition in a month (full tune-up, new battery, tires, sync carbs etc). Engineis really strong. Brake lines, coolant hoses and misc. in excellent condition.[sm=icon_cheers.gif]
