How to fix my fairing? ...
https://cbrforum.com/m_562469/tm.htm
I am just thinking some glass fibre behind it to stop it flexing?? ... what about Araldite??
I want to cause as little trauma as possible to the decal so no plastic welding ..hopefully it will just show a thin scar when glued ...

If you want to do it right, then use fiberglass resin and cloth on the back, then use a short strand fiberglass "paste" on the front once the back is dry. Sand smooth and apply a bit of paint. If you just fiberglass the back side it will eventually crack or pull away from the plastic I think. You might be able to get away with an epoxy on the front, but it will be VERY hard to get it smooth without accidently ruining everything around it.

i dont know what to tell you jules...its never gonna look like it did bofore unless you replace the plastics.

Thank you for the advice here :-) ...

I'd be looking into plastic welding for the break (or it may continue to crack further) & you can use epoxy to fill those holes. The decals are availible & although they can be a pain to apply, as long as your carefull, can be done, & you don't have to buy them as a set.
From memory, you're bike is the same as mine except I have the silver & grey decals (& paint on the tank). Not sure of the American models, but our bikes (except for the tank) are polished ABS, which means that its the same colour all the way through. (Looking at your pics though it does not seem to be the case?) The exhaust is a bit of a bummer, but you can touch that up some, but so many owners swap them for aftermarket ones, there may be one or two out there that have the original sitting in their garages. I'm sure you can get it back to as was.

Thank you :-) .. to be honest I am a little heart broken over it ... I know it's no biggie but we love our bikes and I have always been so fussy over mine ... I am determined to make it "new" again ..then I will post the pics :-)
