looks like a good bike bro. you know what your always going to run into someone that paid less for the same thing but thats because people go thru different things at different times. sometimes people are lucky enough to have the cash (or save!!) when someone needs to be bail out of a tight one. as long as you love what you've bought it's money well spent. not saying get hosed on it but if you like the bike, who cares that you paid 200 more than the next guy. you will for sure get a break on something somewhere else where someone paid more than you. so someone spent 2-300 less than you... go play they're xbox lol

The thing is I need to get a loan to pay for this. I'll have the cash by mid summer, but hey.. that's 2 months cut off the riding season, no thanks. So I'm prepared to pay 3 grand for the bike.. but that needs to be the bike in it's totality (i.e. initial price + whatever needs to be done to it). So I'm hoping he'll go down at least a few hundred. We'll see on Tuesday I guess.

Oh and my other question is I'm pretty short with a short inseam (I'm 5'7" and my inseam is 29-30"). Am I going to have issues with touching the ground on this bike?
It shouldn't be a problem. I'm 5'8" with a 30" inseem or so. I can't flatfoot, but I can reach the ground comfortably. I only put one foot down when I stop anyway, and I can flatfoot byt tilting the bike to that side.

I'm not concerned with flatfooting when I stop, that's no problem. It's more of having enough of my foot on the ground for leverage should I have to back out of a parking space or something. Especially if I need to back up a slight incline or something. I mean, 400 lbs isn't too bad to move around, but when you can barely gain any traction on the ground it's a bit tougher.

I just bought my 95 F3 in michigan for 2000.00. It has new paint and about 17k on the clock. Look around or try to talk the guy down a little. But overall, it depends on how bad you want that bike.

We're going to check it out tomorrow. The guy seems pretty firm on the price. I do want the bike pretty bad though.
