I searched the forum but can't find any "how to's" on replacement. I can see the bulb plug but can't get my hand in there. Any ideas? I got Sylvania Silverstars by the way. Hopefully they make a big difference like I've read. Thanks guys!

 

I think you have to take off the upper fairing - which means removing the mirrors and all the rest of the plastics first. Otherwise there's no clearance behind the headlamp to get the connector off and the bulb out.

 

You don't have to remove the whole upper, just take it easy, but it ain't hard,(well maybe a bit frustrating & fiddly)

What kind of silverstars did you get, hyper white or the cool blue? Also what type fits our f3's? Is it H7?

 

Hyper white. H4s. All I had to do was take off the lower part of the upper fairing. It wasn't that difficult.

 

Ok cool I just picked some up from autozone for $20. Gonn do it tomorrow. Thanks
