RE: Help Installing Forks
Have you tried the F3 service manual? I've not had a chance to look through it myself yet, but I'd imagine it should cover it.

RE: Help Installing Forks
Hey man it's so simple...
Remove your front wheel. Obviously you're going to need to prop the front end up.
Once the front is in the air, there are 2 pinch bolts in both the upper triple clamp and lower triple clamp (12mm I think), break 'em loose. Remove your clip-ons by releasing their pinch bolts as well.
Now once you've got everything bare, you'll notice there is a retaining clip on each fork just above your upper triple clamp. Use a small standard screwdriver to remove it and you'll need to keep hold of the bottom of the fork when you do this as they will DROP!
Once they're out - disassemble and rebuild one at a time sos if you get stumped you have a working reference.
The only special tool you'll need is a piece of PVC tubing, with as thin a thickness as you can get. What you'll use it for is to slide it over the fork tube, and drive in the fork seal without damaging it. This piece of PVC will need to fit snugly (I used an old vacuum cleaner attatchment).
After that, installation is in the reverse order of removal
It's one of the easiest, "big-jobs" on the F3.
Good luck!
