HELP!!
i took my bike out for the first time... winters almost over thats why.. when i rode down the street and shifting into second.. my gears felt so rough... and it CLICKS kinda loud when i do switch gears.. just to sum it up... its just rough .. any ideas on the problem?? or is it just suspose to be that way
i dont think that we have syncros on bikes only cars/trucks.
i would change the oil and or check the clutch lever for free play and roughness.
i some times get the same thunk or thud when shifing into fist and second on my other bike, and its only (or sheat seems to be only) when its cold

Yea if your oil is cold it will do that. It will feel like your not even pulling the clutch in when you shift.(if you are using it). Also a grooved basket will do the same thing because the clutch plates won't break lose and it will feel like your not using the clutch.
