Hi everybody,

I recently bought a 98 CBR F3 Smokin Joes, and I love the bike but I cant
find a helmet to match the purple color.
does anyone know of a website or manufactuer that makes a helmet
that will match this bike.

i had the same problem when i was looking for a helmet to match my purple white n yellow f3 so i just went with a neutral black and silver helmet. I was glad i did when i got a new bike and my helmet still went with the new bikes color.

 

I had the same issue as well with my bike, but i just got a black and yellow Z1R helmet
and it looks great.

 

nice lookin sj. I have one also. I have been debating on having a friend of mine paint my helmet to match.

 

airbrushing a helmet wouldnt be a bad idea if you cannot find a good helmet that matches. So then just get he helmet that fits you best, then paint it to your liking

 

I have the same bike, got it 3 months ago, and have the same problem. My helmet is blue with a pearl and has yellow and white graphics and some yellow stars. It's OKAY for the bike, but it's a POS helmet! I would give up on getting a helmet the same color. I am having the bike painted back to original color and the purple is a BITCH to match. It was last put on any production Honda in 98 and had a few bikes that had the color in the 70's.. LOL let me know if you want the name of the color and bikes it was on.

 

That exact purple color was used on some Ford Taurus models. I forget what year(s)

I have a 1998 Smokin Joes too I just went with a nice gloss black helmet with a very dark tint lens because I really like how it looks, If I were you I wouldn't worry so much about matching your helmet and worry more about matching your jacket.

I absolutely need either the exact color or something similiar since I will be repainting soon.
