Default Headlight Retainer

I recently blew the high beam in my headlight. In the process of installing a new bulb, I broke the headlight retainer. I have been searching for weeks for a replacement retainer and even checked at my local stealership with no luck. Does anyone know where to find a new/used headlight retainer? ANY information is greatly appreciated. Thanks for the time.

Thanks, dcaldwell. I have no pics right now, but I will post one or two very soon. I'm not looking for the actual headlight unit. I'm looking for the small metal clip (retainer) that holds the bulb into the back of the headlight unit. If you take off the dust cover to access the bulb, you can see the small metal retainer that spans across the back side of the bulb to hold it in place. I really appreciate your time and response. Thanks again.

lol i had put my stock headlight up on ebay for $20 starting bid. By time it was over the thing sold for $140ish. lol i about crapped myself. Seems headlights, gauges, and forks from our bike hold decent value. Hell i sold my stock broken fairings on craigslist for $160 lol

It all paid for my F4i swap
