I have a question for you guys. To get inside of the headlight, do you have to bake it to pry off the clear font like on car headlights, or does it just clip off? I am thinking about putting the ccfl from a computer case fan in there to give it the "halo effect".

I will hopefully be getting around to doing it within the next few months along with a long list of things to do during this depressing time when i cannot ride due to the weather here in the north east.

 

does anyone know? I wish i could take a look at my headlight myself but its 300+ miles away along with my bike.

 

Not sure about opening the headlight housing, I wouldn't think so. Even if, it would kind of look weird with one halo... I dunno. Maybe it's just me.

 

Honestly, I think you need to take the uppers off to access the back of the headlight and remove the light that way. Popping off the actually lense is not a good idea.

 

Im trying to get something inside of the whole housing. So I would need to get the clear front off. It will not fit through the bulb hole. Im not worried, people do it all the time to car and motorcycle headlights, i might just have to add a little apoxy when i put it back together
