Default Headlight Bulb replacement

Hi,
was going to replace the headlight bulb today. Got the weathershield off under the fairing and headlight and inserted my hand up and under but then got stalled by not being able to get the wiring connector off the bulb!

The space to grab it is tight and not being able to see what you are doing doesn't help.

My questions areA) has the wiring connector got some sort of clip that needs to be manipulated/released before it can be pulled off or is it just a push on/pull off unit? I don't want to be rough with it incase I pull a wire out 😐
B) can the rubber surround come off first and be slid over the connector block and down the wires to give a bigger purchase area on the connector block?

Such a 'simple' job 😳. Any suggestions welcomed.

No clip on it, just tight and hard to get out. Yes the rubber surround can be pulled off and up the wiring harness to make it easier to grab. Pull on the connector, not the wires.

Thanks for confirming that. I thought that was the case peering at with a torch through the bars and and instrument panel but some fiendish Honda designer might have decided to frustrate the hell out of us LOL
I'll give it another go over the weekend.

I'm not so sure I'd be looking at it with an open flame though, it could be dangerous.

LOL Thought as a last resort I'd cut my way through to it. Wrecked the bike but at least it would have a new bulb in it 👍
