Default Got a new R/R (2005 CBR600)-Wiring opinion?

I purchased a 2005 R/R to replace the stock one on my F3. The problem is that the stock plug has 3 yellow wires, 1 green wire, and 1 red wire. The new one has 3 yellow wires 2 red wires and 2 green wires. All the wires on the F3 R/R run into one plug and on the newer R/R the plugs run into two plugs (3 yellow in one plug and 2 red & 2 green in the other plug). I assume that the plug with the green and red wires go through a relay.

I am planning on taking the two green and the two red wires on the new R/R and connecting them, then connecting them to the single red and green wire on the bike. Then I will connect the yellow wires. Think this will work?

It sounds like both red wires are the + 13-14.4v DC (when you keep the throttle above 2k RPM). And the 2 green wires are ground.

Merge the 2 red wires together and do the same for the green and it should work.

Wired it in and it appears to be charging !! I couldn't find my camera so I don't have any pics of how I wired it, but it was pretty strait forward! Anyways, I am going riding .

Congrats. If you face your bike into a darker area during idle and look at the beam of the headlight, as you rev it from idle, you should see it brighten at about 2k RPM+ and then drop in brightness as you return to idle!
