Awesome, thanks.

(We have like, three things of Barkeepers under the sink, so if it works good I can use it on my GT380 to clean the cases).

If you're splitting the carbs, you can try a DIY sonic cleaning. Did it to mine.

Used a 50 / 50 solution of Simple Green and water with a 2.5l sonic cleaner i got from Harbor Freight.

These hadn't been done

These are after the cleaning.

The sonic cleaner cost me $60. My girlfriend misplaced the power cord So I'm going to go get another one and try using it on my .380

OK, so I didn't get back right away this morning. Anyway, I let the piece of aluminum sit in the solution for over 12 hours. I took it out and couldn't detect any change in the aluminum piece at all. Maybe a little cleaner looking, but that could be because I just took it out and wiped it off. I think for the period of time we're talking about that it's not going to be a problem.

Sooooo I cleaned my carbs with pinesol, and lo and behold when I took them out of the dip, guess what. There was about 1/2 an inch of gel in the bottom of the bucket. So now every one of my pilot jets are clogged...................does pinesol react with carb cleaner and cause it to Gel?
