GIVI (or other brand) Hard Luggage for F3
Hey All,
I have a 1996 CBR600F3 (red/white/black/touch of green :P). I've been doing longer rides on it with my gf, even though it's not a tourer, so I really want some hard luggage to put on the back. A lot of my biker friends (with other brand bikes) have recommended GIVI cases, and their large one (E52) looks perfect for me (fits two full-face helmets!).
Do any of you guys have hard luggage? Is it GIVI? I'm having trouble finding a mounting kit/application online for the GIVI cases -- there's one for the 1997-1998 F3, but those bikes are shaped slightly differently than mine, and I'm not sure if it'll work. Does anyone have experience with this?
If GIVI doesn't work, do any of you guys have hard luggage on F3? What brand? Was it hard to install?

I'm not aware of any.
You can, though, fit quite a bit in a tank bag, even more in a rear seat bag. Some rear seat bags have saddle bags that hang off the sides. You can find them just about anywhere.
I was gonna say get a VFR. But... to each his own. I know I put some serious highway miles on my bike, but if I can't fit it in my tank bag, rear seat net and/or backpack, I don't take it. You can fit quite a bit in all that.
Make your girl get a her own bike!

I use a rack, comes with two bags, one larger than the other, use by themselves or if need be, Zip together.
Easy to put on and get off, plus the rack comes off in minutes
New Zealand company called Ventura. My mate has a Givi Topbox on his GSX1400 Suzuki, looks ok, he like it, gives his pillion a back rest as well (padded)
