Default Gear lever return spring

Can anyone please help, I’ve just stripped my clutch and found that the return spring has broken for the gear lever ! Now I’ve been looking for one , and I can only find a 1993 f2 does anyone think it would fit my f3 1995 before I buy it ,

If this is what you are after there is a good possibility, if not search for your part and then look at compatible machines (once you log in)

This site is very good for looking at other bikes that use the same part once you have the part no's

Thanks for that , I’ve now found a f3 600 1996 with the rod and spring for £20 but. Well handy for the future thanks again !

Cool Found broken piece

How lucky that I found this small piece in the bottom of my sump! Hopefully it’s done no damage?

Maybe fish around with a magnet.

The rest was on the gear rod luckily , not a very good picture sorry, I’ve taken the sump off and checked everything! I might be very lucky, both of the broken pieces fit together perfectly!

That's great, glad it is working out. I'm sure it will be nice to know that you really do know how to shift too... LOL

I’m not sure if I know how to shift properly ? I broke it. ! Lol. Another thing is that when I took the clutch apart I only had a judder spring and not the seat spring in the manual it shows u meant to have two a seat spring and a judder spring weird! And it does not look like you get the seat spring and judder spring in the ebc clutch kits ????
