i dont run my bike on reserve often ,rarely i will do that . my speedo reset is broke so i just will add 140 or so to whatever mileage when i fill up and ride that distance .if while riding i hit the distance n have a little ways to get to where im goin ill run reserve till i fill up
What do you mean by broke?? i may be able to help fix it...mine was spinning freely whenever i revved it would go nuts. I found out that theres this thin 1/16" piece of plastic that broke, i went in there, superglued(solves everything...period) it and it works like a charm.
well the little *** to reset the miles rode when i press it nothing happens i was told theres a little srping under there thats prob broken would be nice to fix it but depends on the work i have to do . its just stuck at 999 i think

I was running premium, but there was a post and lots of peps said they run Reg, or mid and said they didn't feel a difference, so since then i have been running MID and everything stayed the same, ( no knocking, same pull, same milage), i put premium every full tank or so just cuz i guess, but no matter what ihave only been getting 85-90 mile to the tank. AND I THOUGHT THAT WAS GOOD! Then i asked my buddy he has a R1 (Lots of MODS), he said he gets about 100-110, so that thru up RED flags for me. Somthing defenitly wrong with my jet set up or something for a 1000cc to get the same milage as a 600 ****!

I went about 130 miles yesterday before I ran out of gas on the freeway[:-]
It was my first time running out of gas so I got kinda scared! Pulled over, put it on reserve and went home.

I filled up and got 38MPG.

The previous 2 fillups got me 50MPG and 40MPG.
