Front rotor question
Hey everyone, I have a quick question if someone could give me a hand. I went to get my bike inspected this past weekend and it failed because of a very slightly bent front right rotor. I didn't even know because the bike does not shake when I brake. Anyway, the shop wanted $320 for a new rotor. My question is, is there a difference between the front left and front right rotors, or could you use them either way. If someone could please give me a hand with this so i can pick them up on ebay for a fraction of the cost or if someone here is selling one. Thanks

RE: Front rotor question
They do have different part numbers. The hole patterns are different for sure depending on which side the rotor is on. They're mirror images of each other, if you know what I mean. You can get it from Service Honda for $208.57, plus shipping. I know that's not cheap, but better than $350 if you have to go new. What year bike is your F3 ?

RE: Front rotor question
+1 I have EBC Contours and love em!! Hell you can buy two brand new ones for around $350, be careful when buying rotors on ebay because there is a good chance the one you buycan be bent also
ORIGINAL: Triax
get an EBC replacement rotor. Half the cost of OEM and work just as well.

RE: Front rotor question
a thought might be tobuy a new used front end for that kinda money....installation $ --i dont know-- u have an f3?
research for a better front end(possibly a 900rr) or ive even heard of the gixxer600/750 front ends..bigger forks (diameter)((never mind weightt))heoretically says better handling if u ask the right person....
