I have those on my bike they are just a little too small for the holes in the fairing. What i did was get a bit of rubber mat and glued it to the inside of the fairing and then put a hole in the centre for the light to come through and bingo.
I too do not have a LED relay on the bike I don't think the blinking is too fast so it doesn't bother me.

Yeah there has been a few times that i think cars have not really noticed them being on haha but then i just ride cautiously and give them a wide berth.

I don't personally like led's...
the ones I got were a tad bulky... but they aren't led and are quite bright.
