Default Frame Slider Dimensions

Hello,

Recently bought an F3, bit of a project bike, should be fun. Anyway, the bike doesn't have frame sliders, and I would like to get a pair. From what I can tell, they are generally made of delrin, about 3 inches long for standard, and 4 inches for extended. Since they are relatively simple, and I have access to a machine shop and delrin, I figured why spend 30-50 bucks when I can just buy bolts and make my own. Could anyone tell me the depth of the hole, or how much longer than stock the bolts that came with their frame sliders are? Stock bolts are 10x60 and 10x80, and I think the new bolts are about 50mm longer?

My other question involved the lip that I see on some. Intuitive frame sliders for the F3 are identical left and right, with simple a longer bolt on the one side. However, some seem to have a step down on one side. (see link) Why is this, and if it is important, what are the dimensions of that lip? Any dimensions that you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
