Got a 96 F3 and judging by pictures of other bikes im assuming that these small triangular brackets in between the frame and foot peg brackets are just to increase the height of the foot pegs. Im 6'3" and need all the leg room I can get. But at the same time I plan on Flogging the dragon which is right down the road. So tearing into the far edges of the tire will be occurring. Will the stock foot peg position really limit cornering enough to be concerned. Been riding a stock 04 zx636 with no issues at all riding on the very edge of the tire.

 

I guess your on about peg risers, and no putting them back to standad wont cause you no bother, you'd need to crank your bike over further than you would to get your knee down before youd get your pegs down and they cause a nuiscence.
