Default Finally finished... but wont start

I tore down my bike about a year ago to start cosmetically improving it. It was not in great shape so I power coated the wheels, swing arm, pegs, kickstand etc... Along painting it, new mirrors, tail light/brake light coonversion and what not. Well I finally got it all done and now it wont start. After sitting for a year I didn't expect it would but a guy can hope right. So anyways after trying to start it I noticed a fuel leak. Well first here is a picture of it pretty much finished.

But yes the fuel leak. So I am pretty new to bikes but what I think is leaking is my fuel filter. Here are two pictures, the first is zoomed out so you can see where the leaking part is (left side under the tank near the idol controller), and the second picture is zoomed in on whats leaking. After sitting for a year I am guessing dirt etc dried up and was knocked loose from trying to start it and now the filter is clogged (amatuer diag). Anyways any help would be great. For reference the tank was not on the bike BUT there was fuel still in the lines and carb I am sure. So I am guessing that could be a problem too. But here are the pictures

That's the fuel pump, which could explain why the bugger won't start. It has a cut off relay, located behind the reg on the right rear side of the bike (if your sitting on the bike, its the right side). There is also a fuse for it to, check your fuses (located on right side of the fairing) see if it's ok. When you crank the bike, stick your ear as close as you can to the pump, see if its making a noise (like a knocking sound) (& yeah I know its awkward), if not then your pump is cactus, if it makes a noise it may just be blocked with dried up crud (which would explain the leak). You can bypass the pump with a longer bit of fuel line to see if your bike starts up (the pump is mainly for high revs) but I would recommend that you get it fixed before heading out for a long ride. Although I have heard of a few guys that reckon it makes no difference. The previous models did not have the fuel pumps fitted.
