Default Finally Finished the 98 CBR600 F3

Hey Guys

I just wanted show you all my finished project, it all started when a nice guy in a car reversed into my bike knocking it over on it's side. It wasn't too bad you can see the damage in the before photo down the bottom of the R/H lower fairing. Luckily I cought the guy who did it so I got some insurance money and decided to go for a new look, I really like the look of the new CBR 600RR's so i tried to emulate that. I went to my local vinyl sticker guy and took some images and this is how it came out.

P.S the large Honda wing on the side was a bastard to put on it look 1 hour each side probably would have been easier to paint the dam thing on haha.
Let me know what you think, I am please as punch with how it turned out i will take some photos in the day light this weekend.

Damn man, she looks nice! The euro colors were nice, but your new theme is really clean and crisp, I like it. Good work

Yeah thanks guys it really turned out better than i could have hoped for, it really didn't take that long I have a mate that repaired the fairings and resprayed them and then i was riding around with a black bike which looked great but just a bit dull. I found some images that i like on the net took them to a guy who makes vinyl stickers and $200 AUD later had all those and to be honest the stickers were the hardest part of the project.

beautiful bike man. its amazing to me to think that my 95 f3 only has 12k miles on it, and it looks like it belongs in a junkyard (lord knows how many people had it before me), and bikes of the same year look brand new; alot with more miles than mine. im just amazed at how some owners take meticulous care of their bikes, while others neglect them. awesome bike!

Yeah thanks guys, I know it is crazy the different levels of maintenence people have for bikes, I went to a really big big store near my house and there was a beautiful 09 CBR100RR and the thing didn't look like it had seen a bath since bought and to top it off obviously had been knocked over on its side as there was lovely scratches down the right hand side. It kills me people that buy a $19000 AUD bike and then treat it like sh#t! when people like me and probably everyone on this side would give their left kidney for a bike like that and look after it the way it should be looked after worshiped!

Right now I've got a couple cans of EZ-Off (don't laugh, it seems to be working on the old paint).

The paint gun is ready, the compressor is waiting. Soon as I get the old paint off I'm spending some quality time with making her pretty again
