Question fairings

So im picking up some fairings on friday. they fit an 04 600 rr and i was wondering if anyone else has already done the modifications for them to fit on the f3? I have a couple ideas already but i figured id ask since i couldnt find anything.

also what tool do you guys use to check the pressure in each of your cylinders? ive tried the ones you would use for a car but the treading isnt the same and so it doesnt give me an accurate reading.

Thanks

If you do a search on here, you'll find one person who did it. Here. I did the search for you.

The biggest issue I've read is the rr fairings are from a narrower bike. It obviously can be done and has. Good luck.

OH SWEET thats awesome! i guess im not a very good searcher... that bike looks nice! i hope mine turns out as well as his does. nice thing is my birthday is coming up. time to be asking for parts i have a couple more questions for whoever wants to answer...

how do i make a bracket... that guy mentioned making mounting brackets and is there an easy way? id have to take it to the local college if i wanted to get some stuff welded to the frame. (i dont know how to weld )

and whats the easiest way to paint the frame and the engine? my bike is my only vehicle so i cant have it out of commish for too long but i dont have the money to have someone do it for me. hmmmm what to do?

Check out dementedf3's f4i fairing swap it should be the same process only different because its a 600rr.

A bracket is what ever you make it, go to a home depot and go to the hardware section and buy some aluminum strips or steel plates and make it happen! You will have to just figure it out as you go along
