Default Fairing screws

Ok, whoever painted the bike for the PO did more than a bad job (painted over a couple screws). He lost a couple here and there.

Is there any place to order like a replacement pack of fairing screws?

Yup, you can get a pack from bikebolts.com (F3 Pack Link) - I ordered a set and was very happy to be able to fasten all my fairing on properly!

Cheers!

Got the package today. Pretty fast ship time. Ordered late friday night, which means probably didn't process till Mon morning. I haven't had a chance to count every single screw yet but it looks complete. Plus came with a diagram of screw type & location on the fairings, plus instructions on how to fasten the irregular ones.

When I take my fairings off this weekend, they'll go back on with these babies.

Would it be worth getting the $43.42 set over getting the $27.17 set? I mean if you have the screws, you can go to Lowe's, Home Depot, etc. and find nuts pretty easily? Really only the outside screw is what matters as far as looks.. Opinions?

Yes, the outside is all that matters for looks. When I bought them, I got the more expensive (but complete) set of fasteners because to me it was not worth the hassel of running around trying to source random fasteners. Also, you might end up paying more in total if you run to your local HD/Lowes and try to pick up the missing parts. I know that depending on size, some of the fasteners at Lowes are upwards of $0.95 a piece. That adds up pretty quick!

My $0.02 is just to grab the complete set and then you can just work on re-attaching fairings instead of hunting for parts.

Cheers and good luck with your project.
