I need to get a 900rr thermo unit to read the temp. I tried bike bandit/HIdy honda, and they both say that the part is on BACKORDer till further notice, i got the new guages can anyone help, i dont want to put in those beautiful guages and have damn red light blinking and temp all the way up. Someone has done this swap and must of got a 900rr switch or if there is another easy fix let me know i appreciate it.

 

ya....try your local bike shop/store....tell em' you got the 900RR and that you need that thermo unit.....you can get just about any damn part from these bike shops. Theyll pull a blow-up of that part of the bike and see exactly what part/size...price...then theyll order if from there warehouse/distributor. Thats prolly the fastest way youll get it....you wont find one online..unless someone else knows

 

i just put mine on and rode it till my thermo came in.

not that annoying of a red light. and also you wont have to touch that area when you put the new thermo in, so i vote you just install it and wait for the unit to come in.


plus for a gauge of temp, youll hear your fan click on

 

YEah ill install it and ill will check out the nearest bike shop, the thing was that Bike B, and hidy honda online, said they get the part from distributor/Warehouse and both on back order but ill just keep searching
