F4i mirrors on F3?
I need to replace my crap mirrors, and would like to get ones without the rubber covers on the stalks but with the same size mirror. they won't stay in place, and the rubber won't stay attached to the bases.
The F4i mirror seem to fit the bill, but not sure if the holes will line up.
Will be doing the F4i conversion soon.

Here's the thing I found about going from OEM to crap ebay mirrors. At about 30 mph the ebays vibrate so bad they're useless. The OEM mirrors are good past 80 or 90...
Can't tell you about the f4i mirrors bammer, but what I did was cut the rubber neck off of mine that you're having trouble with. I liked the look, personally.
That allowed me to have quality mirrors but look kinda unique and not have to deal with the fading rubber sleeve that was always coming off...

I bought them, put them on for a week, then put my stockers on cuz they're basically not much better than no mirrors.

I have the Targa Monza mirrors- http://www.targa-acc.com/cgi-bin/pro...110BK&format=3 and ive been really happy with them. Kinda pricy but they work well. They dont vibrate if I torque them down enough. If you do go with them buy the black and not the carbon look, bought the fake CF on accident and i really dont like the look of it.
