Anybody swapped over F4i headlights into a F3 fairing? Or any other headlights? I'm wanting to go to split headlights on my bike and was seeing if anybody else has done it. If not does somebody have pics of an f4i fairing stay with and without the lights on it? Thanks!

Well if you go back a few pages you will see a how to on doing a full F4I faring swap. I am not sure about the F4I lights inside the F3 fairing though.

 

Look up 900rr f3 and you should hit on some topics. I've wanted to do the 900RR front end swap for a long time, money's too damn rare!

 

Hey northernfirepower i just looked into that. Well I couldnt find any pics of it, but is that true about it pretty much just bolting up to the f3?

 

Neely it does not bolt straight up.

U have to make a bracket, (which isnt hard with a mill) I work in a machine shop and could do this for you if need be.

This guy has done an R1 conversion but he cut out the front fairing and molded them together. (Very difficult if u dont have any fabrication experience.)

 

Thanks Ayres I am going to look into this. A guy who did the 900rr conversion is going to send me some pics. I will let you know if I am going to do it or not.
