Hey Guys,
I have done the gauge swap on my bike, but am a little confused, when it comes to the instructions from cbrworld. It states that you are supposed to earth the pink and one of the green wires? apparently the pink wire is the slow speed solenoid? and when i connected these wires together with the ignition on this was confirmed by hearing the solenoid operating.
Now i don't know if it is just my imagination but my bike seems a little sluggish in the lower rev band and slow speeds ( I mean more than normal).

So the question is when we earth the pink and green wires is this closing the solenoid not to be used or opening it so it is open the whole time?

 

I wondered the same thing when I installed mine. Then I test rode it to make sure gauges worked, bike ran just as good as before so I quit thinking about it haha.. So I don't really know but I did not start bogging or anything weird, runs perfect

 

+1 did the same thing. just forgot about it.
