All i know is that the new 600rr have the rear light on the fender, but the 07/08 have it on the tail at the end.

On a seperate note, I am currently looking for tails and am wondering if anyone knows what tail this is...?

I have F4i gauges that I had on my F3. They already have the wires cut and the connectors. Ill sell em to you for $100 shipped. I believe they're goin' on ebay for $150ish. My F3 was totalled, so I took the F4i gauges off and need to get rid of them.

the tail in the zombieware link i believe is an 05-06 rr tail...looks like a race plastic so the frame covers between the tank and seat are one piece with the tail section...there are some in progress pictures of mine in my gallery....should be putting it all together this weekend

update: found out that the '03-'04 600rr tail (what i need) is different from the other generation ones.... The '03-'04 is a bit longer and comes with frame covers. So... i got a '03-'04 600rr tail, and front and rear seats.

I also got all '04 f4i plastics, headlight, and f4i gauge in the mail today.

ALSO, just removed the subframe. Going to fab my own for the 600rr tail.

Pics should be up soon.

you can cheat the fabbing of a subframe for it...just cut the rear most cross bar so its open at the end and you steel tubing to extend a little bit like i did with mine...factory f3 storage tray fits perfectly under the rear seat and works like a charm

Reason i cut off the complete subframe is so that when i put the 600rr tail on there isnt a weird gap/mismatched body lines where the frame covers meet the tank... also, want the subframe to be completely invisible with the tail on it. This way i can easily play with tail and tank angle...

Also, want it to be bolt on.

The motorsports mechanical engineering program is pretty cool and you learn a lot, but I'm personally sick of southern people and ready to get out

finished welding/grinding where the sub-frame was welded to the chassis. I can't upload pics on my computer because my browser software is messed up so tomorrow when I'm back on campus I'll upload pictures.
