F3 OEM Cam Chain Tensioner replace, very easy.
Since I couldn't find any real detailed instruction on installing a new F3 OEM CCT . I thought I do so.
Yesterday swapping out the OEM CCT, it was very easy. Removed the old one and replaced with the new.
ALL BOLTS ARE 8mm
1. moved the fairing, don't have to remove it off the bike, just make some room to work.
2. removed the bolt on top of the old tensioner,
3. then moved the clutch cable bracket,
4. then removed the tensioner.
5. scrap off the old gasket (paper style), plug the opening so none of the scraps fall into the engine.
6. installed the new tensioner,
7. removed the lock pin, then you hear the tensioner click onto the CC cover (I think).
8. install the bolt that was removed from the old tensioner on top,
9. then bolt the fairing back on.
Start the bike and rattle is going.
