Okay so last Saturday I laid down my bike , pretty sure the frame and everything is still good just the forks are bent, wheel might be done, and the upper fairing stay is mangled.



So what are some options on swapping out forks for a different year/model of CBR. Is it as simple as just getting the forks off say an F4i and putting them in the F3 triple? Or am i going to need matching wheel, triple tree, handle bars and the whole nine? are there any issues in matching up with the steering stem or what. I tried searching all over but everything just came up with fairing swaps and nothing about forks.

Any info would be great, finding F3 forks on ebay or CL would be ideal but I'd like to open up my options to some more common used forks.

Everything has got to match.

forks,wheel,fender,triples,calipers - all must match - well,at least it's much easier to get a good fit

If you're gonna put an F4 or another front on it,all the above must match.

 

As long as there are no creases in the fork tubes you can have them straightened.

I can tell by the pic you're gonna need another set of triples too.
