hello this is my fist post so bear with me,

i have just got my new fuel exhaust thou for my cbr600f3, so that is what i ordered

i opened up the packaging and "bang" i could tell then that the connection pipe would not fit so i rang up fuel exhausts and they waffled on saying that an f3 is 2000-2006 and can not be my 1998 bike they sead that it is a m-w model,
ive always called it a cbr600f3w bike,

my point is is it a cbr600f3 or a cbr600fw?

they are changing the part for my but i have had to pay to get it shipped back to them

Call back and demand satisfaction, a F3 CBR 600 is 1995-1998.

 

Where are you located? US or Europe? If I recall, the F3 was called Fw in Europe. Since they are saying the years are from 2000 to 2006 for the Fw... I would argue with them. Hopefully they don't send you the wrong part again. Good luck!

 

The F3 is given to the 95 to 98 bikes as has already been said, also F-S, F-T, F-V and F-W for each year.

The 1999-2000 were the F4 and 2001-2006 F4i, BUT the latter were also known as F1, F2, F3, F4 etc relating to the year.

BUT as they tried to qoute the 2000-2006 were F3's they are talking out of their ***!

tell them they are f*cking dumb c*nts this really winds me up if you ring a honda dealer 2000-2006 is a FS3 and 1995 -1998 is f3 ALSO they are different code for each year the 1997(my model) is a FV and the 1998 is a FW cant remember the 1995 or 96 so just refer to it as a fw to save confusion if they then get confused call it a 98 then last resort is F3 LOL
