I picked up a project bike and was told it was a 93 F2 with ownership and the frame vin matches the ownership (1993). However, with all the parts I have it seems to be an OEM F3. Even the engine number is F2 but is an F3 engine.
The previous owner picked it up and was running on 3 cylinders. He determined it was a head problem and picked up another spare complete F2 engine. The original head is apart and he was in the process of rebuilding the head. He decided to no longer build it and I have it now.
Can I grab the head from the F2 and put it on the F3?
Here are some pictures of my project. Including the add the previous owner posted, plus the number from my engine.

The engine is indeed f3 the numbers however aren't the original ones. Honda have a couple off unique shapes to the 2 9 1 digits. Unfortunately the numbers on that engine are questionable at best. Possibly a stolen renumbered motor.
f2 heads will fit fine on f3 . But youll lose some power only a couple of hp. Id check the carbs first befits diagnosing the head as the issue. Common on these its the pilot jet blocks up and the float valve seat corrodes causing it to flood. Easy to sort tho.
