So I'm having a bit of an issue, i purchased a intergraded led f3 tail and I'm having problems getting it to work right. The main tail light plugs right in and then there is two extra wires the i'm guessing run the turn signals they are yellow and blue. My problem is with the acutal woking of the light. It will light up but when i hit the brake it turns off and when I use the signals the whole thing will blink or it won't blink at all. I guess my big question is that is there alot of diffrences between the two models that I couldn't do this. Is the diffrent hook-up for the f-3s? Diffrent voltages maybe?I don't know. So if anyone else has had this problem while doing the conversion let me know, put up a post.

 

sounds like a ground problem, or it has the brake light + hooked into the parking lamp ground or something i would get a volt meter or test light and start mapping your wires and connections
