F2 or F3 forks/wheel?
I have a '95 F3 (I'm sure most of you know my story by now), and I was told that I have F2 rotors and F2 front wheel (I have F2 calipers for sure). Are the F2 wheel and F3 wheel not the same? I've also been told that if I have the F2 calipers on F3 forks that there will be an "unused" portion of the brake pad, but there isn't. I've looked at pictures of F2 and F3 forks and mine appear to be F3's, but it just isn't making since. If anyone knows anything about this and has a clear answer, I'd much appreciate it.

Hey, What I can tell you is that the F2 and F3 front rims are different. The brake rotors on the F3 are considered floating rotors where the F2's are not. I'm not really sure about the calipers or the forks of an F2 or the difference of how they mount. If you look at a picture of both bikes you would be able to tell the difference. I'll try looking for a picture of both.
Just looked at your bike and you do have F2 rotors and front wheels. If your brake pads are making full contact to your rotors, I wouldn't worry about it to much unless you just want to change it to make it a complete F3.
