Default exhaust, pics inside!

I am sure most of us are firmilier with the imfamous ebay moto Gp shorty muffler. I came across one the other day buy it now for 59 bucks. I thought what the hell why not? I kinda like it. Its almost too loud, but sounds good, and it changed my power band around alittle bit. I had the full v&h system. I pulled the ss2r muffler and mid pipe off and bolted this right to the header.

Kool Cheers

You get 2 brackets that you screw to the underside of your saddle and they bend round the side of the saddle which you then screw the 2 allen key bolts into that you can see in the image and its got a hook on the back as well that hooks over the rear of the saddle.

Fits brilliantly the only prob i had with it was orderd black and got sent a white one but was easy to spray it.

I have that same moto gp pipe i think i was the first one on here with it, anyways. you will get used to riding with it and will learn where the sounds is quiet enough for others to tolerate. When i ride in groups people are not bothered by it at all. I love the pipe and the sound that it produces. I have a vid of it i shot last week i will put it on youtube tonight and post the link

Are the headers shorter on the 96's. if you look at the pic of mine the pipe sticks out farther and has an angle to it as well.

ive got a vance and hines header. i love the sound , but coming home late at night coming through the residential neighborhood, being able to be heard 2 blocks away, just doesnt work out. So I emailed the guy and he told me they use the fmf 4 stroke packing. I am going to buy that and try to mellow it out some.
