Default Dyna 2000 CDI Function?

Link.

I have a rudimentary understanding of what this is. Is this install done exclusive of installing an ignition advancer? I already have a +2 pulse rotor installed, but it sounds like this Dyna CDI upgrade does the same thing?

With a laptop you can advance the timing, reprofile the advance curve, add in retard for high rpm running. You wouldn't need a +2 rotor with this.

I have an ignitech re-programmable CDI unit and it allows for better advance curve through the range once set up correctly mine pulls like a boss from 6k

far better than a normal ignition advancer as you gain through the whole range rather than gaining mid range for a drop in high range power or the otherway around

it also helps your air to fuel ratio be as flat as possible

And these benefits hold true for carbureted engines, including the ones in the F3's?

What happens if you run one with an +2 ignition advancer already installed?
