I've been searching for about 6 months now for a complete set of the Smokin Joes fairings for a 96 CBR600. I've had no luck in finding them, but I see them all over the place for a 1997. My question is: Are there any major mods that will have to be done in order to get the 97 kit to fit on my 96? I really want this set, but wanted to make sure this was possible before ordering it. Thanks for any info!

 

tail light, seat, and I guess if your doing all fairings, that will cover the fairings that must be changed. Not sure if theres more than that.

 

On 1997 fairings everything on the front fairing section will fit on a 1996, except for the tail section along with the seats.
