i had a 160/60zr17 obviously on the rear and i just put on a 180/55zr17. am i goin to have to get a different front tire to? or can i just leave my current one on?

 

You don't need to replace your front tire unless it's worn out. Although after putting that wide of a tire on the back, nothing you put on the front is going to get your bike to handle the way it would have if you had put a 160/60 back on it.

Does the 180/55 clear the swingarm, chain guard, etc. okay?

 

yeah, everything is clear, just the clearance between the tire and chain i cant ever fit the tip of my finger between the two
