First off, i hope you have a liscense and if you dont i highly reccomend the MSF course. 3 days, its fun, and you learn alot.
A 600 i would say is a good spot for a new rider to start off.
Most if not all motorcycles are going o have problems. Depends on how well yuo manage it and how well you ride it.
If you have never rode before then it is highly likely that any bike you ride is going to seem fast. As a new rider i would concentrate first on developing safe riding skills before i worried about going "Fast"
And i believe that the bike is carb.
Once again i highly reccomed taking a MSF course if you have not rode before and maybe even if you have. Safety should come first before you think about going fast. Theres nothing scarier then a rider on a CBR, on the highway, cruisin over 85, hoping he looks cool as he passes cars.

Price seems to be too high for the bike. Look at Kelly Blue Book (www.kbb.com) to see what it's worth.

It is true hondas are really good. I have a 96 f3 which is pretty much the same as a 98, give or take a few things. I also think the price is a little high. Dont pay that much. i would definitely say this is a good first bike, and yes it is fast. Not scary fast, but fun fast.
The 98 is still carbureted and 10620km is not bad at all. I would say try to talk them down on the price of look for another f3 with similar mileage for about $3500-$4500. Hope this helps.
ya it is in canadian prices. how can i egt them to lower the pirce, like what could i say? because i am 10 hours away and dont want to waste a trip up their and not bring it home. and if i get it would it be safe to drive it on the hiway for the first time ever riding a bike?
