you should be able to put it on your self---no ned to "rejet" just becuase of a slip on-----so step one take old pipe off and put new one on---step 2 ride bike---step 3 show off pipe to friends and family---step 4 ride fast and free

How much is a D&D? I'll be getting a Vance&Hines full system for around $500. That includes Stainless Steel headers, SS Tubing and SS pipe.

The guy who does my bike started out racing F2s and F3s. He told me the best is Vance&Hines for my bike.

With him knowing I'm going to get a Vance&Hines he didn't rejet my carbs when he cleaned them but added new needles and shimmed them for a V&H full exhaust. He mentioned that it will only need rejetting if I replace the airfilter with a K&N. But apparently on the F3s doing Jetting, Exhaust, and Air Filter causes you to loose a lot of your midrange and it's not as great for street riding. Good for track and Dyno Queens.

But to answer you Question the Can has little to do with your bike. It's more for Looks, Weight, and Sound. Headers is where you gain your HP at.

A slip-on is going to lean you out.

You will hear some popping.

A jet kit will help correct that popping.

don't keep the stock pipe bro...trust me you'll like the aftermarket----it's not like you have to get a jet kit right off the bat anyways...Get the pipe and put it on the bike you'll be happy you did!
