Crooked Wheel

I live in an apartment complex and had my 98 F3 parked near the dumpsters. Well, the trash thugs were kind enough to knock it over for me. The bike fell on the right side and now my throttle sticks slightly and my wheel is crooked. When the handlbars are straight the wheel points to the right, so when I'm riding I have my handlebars cocked to the left. A friend and I looked and he said it looks like the fork is twisted inside the triple tree. I'm not sure if that's the case or not, it's a little hard for me to tell what exactly is wrong. If that's the case, how involved is it to loosen the triple tree and try to untwist the fork(s). Are there any potential issues I could run into? I'd hate to loosen the triple tree only to find out I can't make the right adjustment and put it back together for some reason. I'm fairly handy, but I've never done any work with forks/suspension on my bike. Any suggestions/tips/insight is much appreciated. Thanks.
